Mama Luma is a girls' fashion brand based in Santa Barbara, California. Our co-founder and chief designer, Ms. Sari, is an interior designer and mother of two . Her first designs were created in 1999 – with love and care for her daughter . As a perfectionist and dedicated advocate for women 's empowerment , Ms. Sari is passionate about inspiring new generations .

Mama Luma stands for promoting girls' and women 's self -esteem , their ability to make their own decisions , and their right to actively shape social change – for themselves and for others. Our mission is to give girls the opportunity not only to discover themselves , but also to become the women they want to be tomorrow . Fashion is a form of art – and access to art is an important part of their personal development .

Every girl in the world deserves to be confident and free to express herself and develop a creative , impactful mindset . That's why Mama Luma works with Develop Africa and donates 2% of its profits to children in Africa – especially girls who do not have access to such resources .
