In 1997, Ursula Karven and Dana Schweiger founded bellybutton in Malibu, inspired by their own experiences as mothers. Together with Katja Emcke and Annette Bode, they developed high-quality, stylish products for parents and children. Today, bellybutton continues to be run by a team of mothers, fathers, and dedicated employees who, with passion and experience, design each product the way they would want it for their own children – with love and responsibility.
