Barts children's fashion: handmade accessories for more exclusivity

The suitcases are packed, the first snowflakes are falling from the sky outside and your little ones are looking forward to a white Christmas in the chalet. What's missing now? A warm hat for the ears and cuddly mittens for the hands - from the current Barts collection for children, of course. Hardly any other label offers such high-quality ski and winter accessories as the fashion company from the Netherlands.

From the beach to skiing: The creative looks of Barts Kids

But it all started quite differently – many years before Barts started designing children’s clothing for girls and boys: The young fashion designer Bart Koene first made a name for himself with self-sewn swim shorts. When they were literally snatched out of his hands on the beaches of St. Tropez, he expanded his collections and quickly focused on exclusive headwear. Always in focus: individual styles, high-quality materials and the finest craftsmanship. The quality of Barts winter clothing to this day, without exception, first class.

Individuality meets functionality: Barts for boys and girls

Around 25 years after the first beach sales, everyone at Barts still agrees: creativity and individuality are key. That is why the label's designers regularly surprise with unusual looks that appeal to trend-conscious boys and girls. Whether Barts caps, hats and beanies with figurative embroidery motifs or hand-knitted Scarves with fringes – Accessories from Barts bring fun and lightness to fashion.

Every design for Barts children's fashion always begins with a spontaneous idea: a small sketch that matures step by step and develops at its own pace until it finally becomes a stylish accessory. Whether Barts for babies or Barts for children - the Dutch label does not offer off-the-rack fashion, but original, unique pieces made with passion and heart.

Much more than just style: Bart's children's fashion shows responsibility

If Barts gloves , beanies or the summer collections that are now back in fashion - sustainability plays an important role for the label. Barts children's fashion is created in a company that is committed to sustainable production, fair working conditions and fair wages. This means that you and your kids can wear Barts children's fashion with a clear conscience.

Fashion that is fun, exclusive and underlines the individuality of your children - all of this is possible with Barts children's fashion. With their extravagance, the accessories know how to effectively set off any outfit. And you can see it for more than just a few things: whether on a skiing holiday in St. Moritz or at a New Year's party with the whole family - with Barts' winter styles, your children are not only stylishly dressed, but also well protected in cold temperatures.

The Barts hats fashion brand began in a rather unconventional way. In 1986, the young Dutchman Bart Koene started selling beach shorts on the beach in Saint Tropez, which he made on his sewing machine according to his own design. The informal business was a huge success and Bart eventually returned to Amsterdam, where he continued to work on his designs. Finally, in 1992, he began designing unusual but tasteful headgear. This venture was also well received by his customers and Bart gradually began to design more extensive collections, which were soon joined by the Barts children's series. Today, the fashion brand has a new headquarters in Amsterdam's harbor district and is known throughout Europe for its elegantly knitted hats and scarves.
